About
I'VE bEEN wHERE
yOU aRE.
I'm Stacy — financial coach, recovering credit card overspender, and the person who will happily look at your numbers with you.
My story
Hi! I'm Stacy, and I'm ready to be your Financial Bestie.
Just like you, I understand what it's like to feel overwhelmed by the prospect of tackling your finances. I've been there, and I know how tough it can be. Money was never explained to me — it was argued about. That's a hard place to start from, and it's the reason I do this work today.
As a kid, money was always a constant source of conflict in my household.
I grew up without learning how to manage money and felt lost when it came to finances.
After college, I found myself overspending on credit cards without a plan to pay them off.
I reached a turning point when I hired a coach from a financial literacy company — it was the first time I made real financial progress.
I loved that feeling of accomplishment so much, I became a financial coach for that same company.
Now, I'm passionate about helping others find their path, lift the weight of financial stress, and discover the tools they need to succe
The turning point wasn't a windfall or a raise. It was a plan, and someone who checked in on me while I worked it. That combination changed my life, and it's exactly what I offer my clients.
Three things I hold to in every session
What I believe
Realistic over perfect
A budget you can live with beats a flawless one you quit in three weeks. We build for the life you actually have — weddings, travel, takeout and all.
No judgment, ever
I've had the credit card balance I was afraid to look at. Nothing you bring to a session will shock me, and nothing will be met with shame.
Progress you can see
We measure. Every month and every quarter, you'll know exactly what moved — because momentum is what keeps people going.
My approach
I'm a financial coach — not an advisor, an accountant, or a salesperson. I don't manage your investments or sell you products. I work on the part that actually determines your outcomes: the decisions you make between paychecks.
I trained and coached at a financial literacy company before building Practical Progress Consulting, and every plan I write is built by hand for one person. Nothing here is templated, because nobody's life is
Coaching, not lecturing
You don't need to have it figured out first
Who I work with
Most of my clients come to me capable and successful in every other area of life — and quietly stuck on money. If you see yourself here, you're in the right place
